The shy teenager smiled, and even blushed a bit. "Thank you," he paused. "You haven't told me your name..."

"Oh, sorry... It's Carter." The man said.

"Well, Carter," said Caleb, "It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too." Carter replied, smiling at him.

Caleb slid over on the piano bench. "Do you wanna sit?"

"Sure." Carter said before going over to sit beside him.

"I've been working on this piece for a few months now," said Caleb. "It shouldn't be this hard to play my own music..."

"At least you can read and write music though, right?" Carter said. "Not everyone can."

Caleb nodded. "It's not that hard, though, when it's all you ever do."

"I guess so, but still, some people just can't do it." Carter said, shrugging. "From what I've seen not many can write it, even if they can read it; so you should be proud of that."
