He Took Them All For Love

Amneris nodded as they reached the docks.

Radames paused and looked towards the docks before looking back at Amneris.

Amneris wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, hoping it wasn't obvious she wanted to cry.

Radames hugged Amneris back, holding her close.

Amneris rested her head on Radames' uninjured shoulder

Radames hugged Amneris a little tighter, gently rubbing her back with one hand.

"I love you Radames, don't ever forget that," said Amneris.

"I know you do ...and how could I after you saved me?"

"Part of me wants to hate her," Amneris admitted. "but I can't..."

"Oh...why not?" Radames asked curiously.

"Because I just want you to happy," said Amneris.

"I'd wish the same for you...but I kind of alreay ruined that, didn't I?" Radames sighed.

Amneris shook her head. "I'll find someone someday."

Radames smiled. "Hopefully."

Amneris slowly let him go.

Radames sighed as he stepped away from her, smiling softly.

"Good luck," said Amneris

Radames smiled and nodded. "Thank you." He said. "And good luck to you too."

Amneris nodded as Aida was taken to the ship.

Radames looked over at the guard who has Aida, then back at Amneris. "I guess that's the sing for me to head off..."

Amneris nodded. "Goodbye Radames."

Radames smiled and nodded, looking at Amneris for a few seconds before suddenly hugging her again. "Goodbye."

Amneris hugged Radames back, tears in her eyes.

Radames hugged her tightly, holding her close.
